Just

Job 2: 9-10
Then his wife said to him, "do you still hold fast your integrity? Curse God and die!" But he said to her, "You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God and not accept adversity?" In all this Job did not sin with his lips.

Father, ... forgive me for looking out for myself, forgive me for being a man of this world. Father, I am weak and look only to You for strength. The riches of this world are nothing but dust in the wind compared to You, and the power of Your love and sovereign grace. You have a plan for us, individually and as a whole, You have given us all gifts, more than one in most cases, and we for the most part let them lay to the side. Our command is to perform the "great commission". To spread the word of Your gospel, of the sacrifice of Your Son, that satisfied the righteous demands of an infinitely Holy God. That's it, just spread the word, and Father we fall short everyday. Forgive us Oh, Lord.

Father, I have recently became a member of a prayer team for my church. Father, I see the hurt that is out there, I see some of the suffering. Lord, You are a just God, there is nothing that takes You by surprise, there is nothing that catches You off guard, there is nothing that You cannot handle. Father, I feel so blessed that You have allowed me this gift of prayer, so I may share it with others, to further glorify You and Your kingdom. To serve Your plan and purpose. Father, impart upon me the ability to continue to perform these tasks and to be the instrument You desire to help others in need, or in search of the words to connect them to Your love.

Father, there are not enough words to describe how wonderful You are, how magnificent You love is and the depths of not only that love, but Your grace....... Oh, that wonderful word "grace."
For it was grace that saved me, and grace that set me free, I once was lost, but now am found, was blind, but now I see. Twas grace that brought me this far, and grace that will lead me home.

Oh, my Father, my love for You grows with every passing day, I long to be in the light of Your glory, to be able to worship You, at Your feet. Father, I commit this day, this time, this life, my family, our home,....... my love to You. You hold us so tenderly, and keep us in Your heart, we forget that every time something doesn't go the way we want, or seems unjust, forgive us Father, for the foolishness of our minds, we truly long to accept all things from You, for You are our Father, and there is nothing that can come against us, or hurt us, or take us away from You. For this and for all things we praise You Father, we pray humbly in the name of Your most awesome and wonderful Son, our Mighty Counselor, and Gracious Lord, Jesus Christ,
and all God's people said....
Amen
