My lovely wife has started her own blog, I am by far the worst person on
the computer. I type well and can express myself in words, but get me to
download, or update something,...........it just won't happen.
Anyhow, I chose the title of Trying to see through His eyes, because I have
had a very difficult time walking in Christs footsteps like we all should.
In no way is this a blog to try to convict others or try to receive
something. I like putting my thoughts down, expressing myself, and
possibly connecting with people that Christ would like me to.
So when the opportunity arose for me to start this blog, I didn't have to
think long about what to write, or post.
First a little about me; I have a great woman in my life, her name is Lorna,
the light of my life, the most beautiful woman, and my best friend. We
have two wonderful boys, Wyatt and Jack, sweet little kids, that are typical
boys, but have a sweetness about them that is some much like their mother.
Our cute little house is a little too little, but it works, we have also filled
our lives and house with pets; two dogs(st. Bernard's), two cats, and one twit,
(Shelby the pug).
Our lives are full, and never still. We are always on the go, and
sometimes have way to much going on.
Lorna and I have been through a lot in our short marriage, (almost 10
years), but I feel we have come through all of it in a pretty good. I
personally believe that without Christ, Lorna and I would be in a totally
different place. I thank Him for all things, but besides being saved, and
born again through Him, I thank Him for her, for my wife. I had a great
example of marriage and ups and downs of family life growing up. The most
important ingredient is Christ.
So I hope and pray that this blog takes off, it is honoring and inspiring, I will also add a prayer with every posting;
Heavenly Father, our Lord, our God, I give you this day, these words, my time my life. Father I pray that these words, and there intent are honoring to you, and will in Your way, and ways that are of You reach people, or help in some way. We thank you for your love, your grace, and just your awesome ways. I pray for these things and for those that read these words, in the name of Your son, Jesus Christ. amen
