FREE!!!!

Psalm 146:7
He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets prisoners free,

Heavenly Father, our gracious and most wonderful and powerful God. YOU ARE GOD!!!!!!!!
Father, I praise You for all things, I lift Your name on high and present myself to You for Your work, Your will and for Your doing. Lord, You have set me free. Though I may have small minor aches, I know longer have chronic pain in my back, I no longer have doctor appointments, I know longer need therapy, Father, the different levels of this ordeal where many and lengthy, but Father, You have set me free!
I feel better than I have in years, my sleep is coming back, my rest is coming back, my life is coming back, and You Father, You alone are responsible and at the wheel.
I found discouragement at times, I allowed depression to find me at other times, and then there were times when nothing made me happy or joyful. But You Father; I never gave up on You, I never doubted You, I argued with You at times, but I never thought that Your love for me ran dry, or stopped. No matter the level of my thoughts, or deeds, or actions, or positions did I ever lose my faith and trust in You. You are marvelous and wonderful beyond all measure.
I eventually took this problem on with the likes of Paul, and let this be a thorn in my side. You humbled me through it, Father, You broke me...... You broke me and rebuilt me, and for this as for all things I praise You Father. I pray that You continue to mold me in the image You have planned for me.
You are the One Father, there is nothing You cannot do, Father, I leave my life with You daily, I thank You for giving my life back to me and my family. Thank You Father, for allowing such talented Doctors and therapists to do Your work. Thank You Father, for wonderful family and friends with encouragements and help.
Father, mostly, I want to sincerely thank You from the bottom of my heart for my lovely and cherished wife and our two sweet and big hearted kids. Father, You handle all things justly, and are in control, but I cannot imagine going through this ordeal without them. My wife suffered with me, every step of the way, she saw me down, she saw me in pain, she saw almost giving up, but she never wavered, she never faltered, her faith in You was so evident. You have allowed such a "rock" in her for me. I leaned on her, hard at times, but she never buckled. She lifted me up when I couldn't,(spiritually, emotionally), Oh Father, she never gave up and she never showed any signs of doing so. Oh, how I praise You Father, for her ......................
Our wonderful boys, .... what treasures they are. They too saw me down and almost out, they see their day as I saw mine, as big as all out doors, and stronger than anyone, and they witnessed me on the floor in tears and pain, they saw their dad scream and suffer in pain more than any child should. Those two sweet innocent little guys gave some of the best medicine in the world, they gave the medicine of laughter and joy. Father, there is a special joy that comes from our children that cannot be duplicated by adults, their little smiles and expressions brought such joy to me and lifted me up always at the right time, I know Your hand was on them and me. Thank You Father, thank You for lighting my life and my heart with all three of them.....
My wonderful wife Lorna, our two boys, Wyatt and Jack, are my life and Oh, how I thank You Lord.
This prayer of praise is for You Lord, is for Your honor and glory, It is all in the name of Your gracious and wonderful most high and most mighty Son, Jesus Christ, my Savior, my Redeemer, where my salvation lies, and where I find my comfort and strength. In His name I pray.......
Amen

(I couldn't get this song out of my head today:)

Through You the blind will see; Through You the mute will sing; Through You the dead will rise; Through You all hearts will praise; Through You the darkness flees; Through You my heart screams, I am free! I am free to run, (I am free to run); I am free to dance (I am free to dance); I am free to live for you (I am free to live for you); I am free (I am free); Chorus: I am free, I am free, I am free to run (I am free to run); I am free to dance (I am free to dance); I am free to live for you (I am free to live for you, I am free (I am free) Yes I am free

Darkness now Light

Ephesians 5:8-14
for you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as children of Light, (for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth), trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord. Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them; for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret. But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything that become s visible is light. For this reason it says, " Awake, sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you"

Our Father, we come to You in any way, at anytime, for anything. You can handle all things, You take things as You want to, and Your ways are the only ways to go. You are never caught off guard, You are never surprised, You never leave us, You never forsake us. Your ways are just, and You are our light. Father, I sincerely ask forgiveness of my sins, I seek the shelter of Your unending grace, and I live to give my life for You. Father, take me and use me as You see fit, and for purposes that please and benefit You and Your kingdom.
Father, today evil is all around. It pollutes our political system, our courtrooms, our schools, and our homes. We are in a constant battle with the forces of evil and darkness, and it pains me to see more and more people call evil good. When things look so good and so right, but take us away from You, ...... then that's where evil lives. In this world today so many put their trust and faith in money, public officials, all sort of ways of this lost world, and the pride and stubbornness will not allow them to seek You out. To seek out Your word, Your love, .... for if they were to do so, they wouldn't have to go far, for You are there, You are waiting with open arms to love them one on one, and to show them the way............ Father, I pray with all my heart, with all sincerity, and humility that not only will Your will be done, and Your kingdom come, but that I will be able to assist in do whatever work You would have me do to help populate Your kingdom.
For You are the light of the world, for it is Your glory that shines, and Your love that flows over us like all the waters of the world. I give You my life, and seek Your direction for myself, my wife, my children, this house, ..... may we be the examples You have intended for us to be. May we not shy away from spreading the word of the Lord, the gospel.
Father, I lift up my family to You, I seek ways and thoughts on how to protect and guide them and yet they maybe good, and honoring to You, they are not enough. I seek Your help, help me to be the Christ-like husband and father You want me to be, humble me, and teach me, tear me down, and rebuild me again in the mold of the masterpiece You have in mind for me. Without You I am nothing, but dust in the wind....
I give You Lorna, Wyatt, and Jack, keep their hearts soft, their minds open, and their spirits enriched by You. Allow no harm or evil to come to them or near them. Keep them safe in Your arms of love and compassion.
Father, I give You my Mom's and Dad's, I have been blessed with such wonderful mentors in my life, they have all had their ups and downs, their good and bad day's. Father, I pray that Your hand never leaves them and they feel Your blessings throughout their days. Keep them safe and secure, full of love and wisdom, for they are our wisdom and compasses. I lift up our brothers and sisters, our nieces and nephews, keep them in Your arms of protection and love, may they continue to feel Your compassion and forgiveness upon them.
For You are never against us, Lord. You are here for us, You've given us lives to enjoy each other, to enjoy life together. To praise You, to sing our praises to You, ... Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! for You reign, You are the King of Kings, and the Lord and Lords.
Father, we have family and friends that are so close to us, in spirit and physically. Father, they are in ill health, they are in need, or they are hurting, we know of some, not of all. Some keep it to themselves, but You know the details, You know who hurts and doesn't. Father, You know it better than any of us ever could, I ask You now and whole hearted that You touch them and allow them to know You are God, You are in control, You love abounds all knowledge, and Your love goes on forever and ever, for them and all of us. I pray they find a sense of comfort in You, that they feel the power of the Holy Spirit upon them and feel the relief of Your grace, the grace in which You lavish upon us....... We love You Lord, we don't say enough, or share it enough, forgive us of this, and continue to lead us in the direction of Your will. For that is the bottom line, Your will, that it will be done, that the Pastors will preach the Cross and the Blood of the Lamb, and the only salvation and true way to You Father, is through Your Son, Jesus Christ, no other way, for He is the only Way, the only Truth, the only Light, The Light that will shine on us.
For in Him, in His most beautiful and gracious name we humbly pray, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior,
Amen

but GOD.

Ephesians 2:3-5
Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest. BUT GOD, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)

Thank You our Father, for Your grace, for Your love, for Your sovereign plan, and majesty. Father, You reached down through the life of Your son, Jesus Christ to rescue us from our sins, from ourselves. Father, this gift of salvation can never be re payed, can never be made up, it is a gift and Father, I accept this gift. Father, I lift up my praises to You for my heart wants to honor and glorify You above all things. You are our God and the one and only righteous one deserving of our worship.
Father You changed life and all thing with the one act that is described about in the about verse, "but God", we could sum up the gospel with those two words. "but God", we were dead, there was no hope, there was nothing we could do, "but God", You did it all with one act, with the life of Your Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ. We have been accepted into Your kingdom, through Him. For we have been set free through our savior. Oh, blessed be the name of the Lord. I submit myself to You, in honor and glory. May I be Your servant for all days, in all ways, for Your love. Father, I lift up those who are lost, those who are hurting, those who are dead and don't even know it. Father, may I do Your work for You, and bring something to them. May I pray, may I learn to teach, learn to preach, write better, whatever it may be, may I be able through the sovereign power of Your son, Our Redeemer Jesus Christ, to do anything You want me to do. For it is by Your power and glory we are given strength, and not of this world.
I pray in the name of Your son, My Savior, our Counselor, the Mighty One, the Alpha, the Omega, the true One and Only Lord of Lords, and King of Kings, His Name is Jesus Christ, may we all bow at His feet, and in whom we pray,
And all Gods people said,.....
Amen

The Cross

Romans 11:33-36
Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways! For who has know the mind of the Lord, or who became His counselor? Or who has first given to Him that it might be paid back to Him again? For from him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen
John 19:30
Therefore when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, "It is finished!" And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.

1. When I survey the wondrous cross
on which the Prince of Glory died;
my richest gain I count but loss,
and pour contempt on all my pride.

2. Forbid it, Lord, that I should boast,
save in the death of Christ, my God;
all the vain things that charm me most,
I sacrifice them to his blood.

3. See, from his head, his hands, his feet,
sorrow and love flow mingled down.
Did e'er such love and sorrow meet,
or thorns compose so rich a crown.

4. Were the whole realm of nature mine,
that were an offering far too small;
love so amazing, so divine,
demands my soul, my life, my all.

Just

Job 2: 9-10
Then his wife said to him, "do you still hold fast your integrity? Curse God and die!" But he said to her, "You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God and not accept adversity?" In all this Job did not sin with his lips.

Father, ... forgive me for looking out for myself, forgive me for being a man of this world. Father, I am weak and look only to You for strength. The riches of this world are nothing but dust in the wind compared to You, and the power of Your love and sovereign grace. You have a plan for us, individually and as a whole, You have given us all gifts, more than one in most cases, and we for the most part let them lay to the side. Our command is to perform the "great commission". To spread the word of Your gospel, of the sacrifice of Your Son, that satisfied the righteous demands of an infinitely Holy God. That's it, just spread the word, and Father we fall short everyday. Forgive us Oh, Lord.

Father, I have recently became a member of a prayer team for my church. Father, I see the hurt that is out there, I see some of the suffering. Lord, You are a just God, there is nothing that takes You by surprise, there is nothing that catches You off guard, there is nothing that You cannot handle. Father, I feel so blessed that You have allowed me this gift of prayer, so I may share it with others, to further glorify You and Your kingdom. To serve Your plan and purpose. Father, impart upon me the ability to continue to perform these tasks and to be the instrument You desire to help others in need, or in search of the words to connect them to Your love.

Father, there are not enough words to describe how wonderful You are, how magnificent You love is and the depths of not only that love, but Your grace....... Oh, that wonderful word "grace."
For it was grace that saved me, and grace that set me free, I once was lost, but now am found, was blind, but now I see. Twas grace that brought me this far, and grace that will lead me home.

Oh, my Father, my love for You grows with every passing day, I long to be in the light of Your glory, to be able to worship You, at Your feet. Father, I commit this day, this time, this life, my family, our home,....... my love to You. You hold us so tenderly, and keep us in Your heart, we forget that every time something doesn't go the way we want, or seems unjust, forgive us Father, for the foolishness of our minds, we truly long to accept all things from You, for You are our Father, and there is nothing that can come against us, or hurt us, or take us away from You. For this and for all things we praise You Father, we pray humbly in the name of Your most awesome and wonderful Son, our Mighty Counselor, and Gracious Lord, Jesus Christ,
and all God's people said....
Amen
