Psalm 146:7
He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets prisoners free,
Heavenly Father, our gracious and most wonderful and powerful God. YOU ARE GOD!!!!!!!!
Father, I praise You for all things, I lift Your name on high and present myself to You for Your work, Your will and for Your doing. Lord, You have set me free. Though I may have small minor aches, I know longer have chronic pain in my back, I no longer have doctor appointments, I know longer need therapy, Father, the different levels of this ordeal where many and lengthy, but Father, You have set me free!
I feel better than I have in years, my sleep is coming back, my rest is coming back, my life is coming back, and You Father, You alone are responsible and at the wheel.
I found discouragement at times, I allowed depression to find me at other times, and then there were times when nothing made me happy or joyful. But You Father; I never gave up on You, I never doubted You, I argued with You at times, but I never thought that Your love for me ran dry, or stopped. No matter the level of my thoughts, or deeds, or actions, or positions did I ever lose my faith and trust in You. You are marvelous and wonderful beyond all measure.
I eventually took this problem on with the likes of Paul, and let this be a thorn in my side. You humbled me through it, Father, You broke me...... You broke me and rebuilt me, and for this as for all things I praise You Father. I pray that You continue to mold me in the image You have planned for me.
You are the One Father, there is nothing You cannot do, Father, I leave my life with You daily, I thank You for giving my life back to me and my family. Thank You Father, for allowing such talented Doctors and therapists to do Your work. Thank You Father, for wonderful family and friends with encouragements and help.
Father, mostly, I want to sincerely thank You from the bottom of my heart for my lovely and cherished wife and our two sweet and big hearted kids. Father, You handle all things justly, and are in control, but I cannot imagine going through this ordeal without them. My wife suffered with me, every step of the way, she saw me down, she saw me in pain, she saw almost giving up, but she never wavered, she never faltered, her faith in You was so evident. You have allowed such a "rock" in her for me. I leaned on her, hard at times, but she never buckled. She lifted me up when I couldn't,(spiritually, emotionally), Oh Father, she never gave up and she never showed any signs of doing so. Oh, how I praise You Father, for her ......................
Our wonderful boys, .... what treasures they are. They too saw me down and almost out, they see their day as I saw mine, as big as all out doors, and stronger than anyone, and they witnessed me on the floor in tears and pain, they saw their dad scream and suffer in pain more than any child should. Those two sweet innocent little guys gave some of the best medicine in the world, they gave the medicine of laughter and joy. Father, there is a special joy that comes from our children that cannot be duplicated by adults, their little smiles and expressions brought such joy to me and lifted me up always at the right time, I know Your hand was on them and me. Thank You Father, thank You for lighting my life and my heart with all three of them.....
My wonderful wife Lorna, our two boys, Wyatt and Jack, are my life and Oh, how I thank You Lord.
This prayer of praise is for You Lord, is for Your honor and glory, It is all in the name of Your gracious and wonderful most high and most mighty Son, Jesus Christ, my Savior, my Redeemer, where my salvation lies, and where I find my comfort and strength. In His name I pray.......
Amen
(I couldn't get this song out of my head today:)
Through You the blind will see; Through You the mute will sing; Through You the dead will rise; Through You all hearts will praise; Through You the darkness flees; Through You my heart screams, I am free! I am free to run, (I am free to run); I am free to dance (I am free to dance); I am free to live for you (I am free to live for you); I am free (I am free); Chorus: I am free, I am free, I am free to run (I am free to run); I am free to dance (I am free to dance); I am free to live for you (I am free to live for you, I am free (I am free) Yes I am free

Darkness now Light
Ephesians 5:8-14
for you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as children of Light, (for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth), trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord. Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them; for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret. But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything that become s visible is light. For this reason it says, " Awake, sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you"
Our Father, we come to You in any way, at anytime, for anything. You can handle all things, You take things as You want to, and Your ways are the only ways to go. You are never caught off guard, You are never surprised, You never leave us, You never forsake us. Your ways are just, and You are our light. Father, I sincerely ask forgiveness of my sins, I seek the shelter of Your unending grace, and I live to give my life for You. Father, take me and use me as You see fit, and for purposes that please and benefit You and Your kingdom.
Father, today evil is all around. It pollutes our political system, our courtrooms, our schools, and our homes. We are in a constant battle with the forces of evil and darkness, and it pains me to see more and more people call evil good. When things look so good and so right, but take us away from You, ...... then that's where evil lives. In this world today so many put their trust and faith in money, public officials, all sort of ways of this lost world, and the pride and stubbornness will not allow them to seek You out. To seek out Your word, Your love, .... for if they were to do so, they wouldn't have to go far, for You are there, You are waiting with open arms to love them one on one, and to show them the way............ Father, I pray with all my heart, with all sincerity, and humility that not only will Your will be done, and Your kingdom come, but that I will be able to assist in do whatever work You would have me do to help populate Your kingdom.
For You are the light of the world, for it is Your glory that shines, and Your love that flows over us like all the waters of the world. I give You my life, and seek Your direction for myself, my wife, my children, this house, ..... may we be the examples You have intended for us to be. May we not shy away from spreading the word of the Lord, the gospel.
Father, I lift up my family to You, I seek ways and thoughts on how to protect and guide them and yet they maybe good, and honoring to You, they are not enough. I seek Your help, help me to be the Christ-like husband and father You want me to be, humble me, and teach me, tear me down, and rebuild me again in the mold of the masterpiece You have in mind for me. Without You I am nothing, but dust in the wind....
I give You Lorna, Wyatt, and Jack, keep their hearts soft, their minds open, and their spirits enriched by You. Allow no harm or evil to come to them or near them. Keep them safe in Your arms of love and compassion.
Father, I give You my Mom's and Dad's, I have been blessed with such wonderful mentors in my life, they have all had their ups and downs, their good and bad day's. Father, I pray that Your hand never leaves them and they feel Your blessings throughout their days. Keep them safe and secure, full of love and wisdom, for they are our wisdom and compasses. I lift up our brothers and sisters, our nieces and nephews, keep them in Your arms of protection and love, may they continue to feel Your compassion and forgiveness upon them.
For You are never against us, Lord. You are here for us, You've given us lives to enjoy each other, to enjoy life together. To praise You, to sing our praises to You, ... Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! for You reign, You are the King of Kings, and the Lord and Lords.
Father, we have family and friends that are so close to us, in spirit and physically. Father, they are in ill health, they are in need, or they are hurting, we know of some, not of all. Some keep it to themselves, but You know the details, You know who hurts and doesn't. Father, You know it better than any of us ever could, I ask You now and whole hearted that You touch them and allow them to know You are God, You are in control, You love abounds all knowledge, and Your love goes on forever and ever, for them and all of us. I pray they find a sense of comfort in You, that they feel the power of the Holy Spirit upon them and feel the relief of Your grace, the grace in which You lavish upon us....... We love You Lord, we don't say enough, or share it enough, forgive us of this, and continue to lead us in the direction of Your will. For that is the bottom line, Your will, that it will be done, that the Pastors will preach the Cross and the Blood of the Lamb, and the only salvation and true way to You Father, is through Your Son, Jesus Christ, no other way, for He is the only Way, the only Truth, the only Light, The Light that will shine on us.
For in Him, in His most beautiful and gracious name we humbly pray, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior,
Amen

but GOD.
Ephesians 2:3-5
Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest. BUT GOD, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)
Thank You our Father, for Your grace, for Your love, for Your sovereign plan, and majesty. Father, You reached down through the life of Your son, Jesus Christ to rescue us from our sins, from ourselves. Father, this gift of salvation can never be re payed, can never be made up, it is a gift and Father, I accept this gift. Father, I lift up my praises to You for my heart wants to honor and glorify You above all things. You are our God and the one and only righteous one deserving of our worship.
Father You changed life and all thing with the one act that is described about in the about verse, "but God", we could sum up the gospel with those two words. "but God", we were dead, there was no hope, there was nothing we could do, "but God", You did it all with one act, with the life of Your Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ. We have been accepted into Your kingdom, through Him. For we have been set free through our savior. Oh, blessed be the name of the Lord. I submit myself to You, in honor and glory. May I be Your servant for all days, in all ways, for Your love. Father, I lift up those who are lost, those who are hurting, those who are dead and don't even know it. Father, may I do Your work for You, and bring something to them. May I pray, may I learn to teach, learn to preach, write better, whatever it may be, may I be able through the sovereign power of Your son, Our Redeemer Jesus Christ, to do anything You want me to do. For it is by Your power and glory we are given strength, and not of this world.
I pray in the name of Your son, My Savior, our Counselor, the Mighty One, the Alpha, the Omega, the true One and Only Lord of Lords, and King of Kings, His Name is Jesus Christ, may we all bow at His feet, and in whom we pray,
And all Gods people said,.....
Amen

The Cross
Romans 11:33-36
Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways! For who has know the mind of the Lord, or who became His counselor? Or who has first given to Him that it might be paid back to Him again? For from him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen
John 19:30
Therefore when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, "It is finished!" And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.
1. When I survey the wondrous cross
on which the Prince of Glory died;
my richest gain I count but loss,
and pour contempt on all my pride.
2. Forbid it, Lord, that I should boast,
save in the death of Christ, my God;
all the vain things that charm me most,
I sacrifice them to his blood.
3. See, from his head, his hands, his feet,
sorrow and love flow mingled down.
Did e'er such love and sorrow meet,
or thorns compose so rich a crown.
4. Were the whole realm of nature mine,
that were an offering far too small;
love so amazing, so divine,
demands my soul, my life, my all.
Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways! For who has know the mind of the Lord, or who became His counselor? Just
Job 2: 9-10
Then his wife said to him, "do you still hold fast your integrity? Curse God and die!" But he said to her, "You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God and not accept adversity?" In all this Job did not sin with his lips.
Father, ... forgive me for looking out for myself, forgive me for being a man of this world. Father, I am weak and look only to You for strength. The riches of this world are nothing but dust in the wind compared to You, and the power of Your love and sovereign grace. You have a plan for us, individually and as a whole, You have given us all gifts, more than one in most cases, and we for the most part let them lay to the side. Our command is to perform the "great commission". To spread the word of Your gospel, of the sacrifice of Your Son, that satisfied the righteous demands of an infinitely Holy God. That's it, just spread the word, and Father we fall short everyday. Forgive us Oh, Lord.
Father, I have recently became a member of a prayer team for my church. Father, I see the hurt that is out there, I see some of the suffering. Lord, You are a just God, there is nothing that takes You by surprise, there is nothing that catches You off guard, there is nothing that You cannot handle. Father, I feel so blessed that You have allowed me this gift of prayer, so I may share it with others, to further glorify You and Your kingdom. To serve Your plan and purpose. Father, impart upon me the ability to continue to perform these tasks and to be the instrument You desire to help others in need, or in search of the words to connect them to Your love.
Father, there are not enough words to describe how wonderful You are, how magnificent You love is and the depths of not only that love, but Your grace....... Oh, that wonderful word "grace."
For it was grace that saved me, and grace that set me free, I once was lost, but now am found, was blind, but now I see. Twas grace that brought me this far, and grace that will lead me home.
Oh, my Father, my love for You grows with every passing day, I long to be in the light of Your glory, to be able to worship You, at Your feet. Father, I commit this day, this time, this life, my family, our home,....... my love to You. You hold us so tenderly, and keep us in Your heart, we forget that every time something doesn't go the way we want, or seems unjust, forgive us Father, for the foolishness of our minds, we truly long to accept all things from You, for You are our Father, and there is nothing that can come against us, or hurt us, or take us away from You. For this and for all things we praise You Father, we pray humbly in the name of Your most awesome and wonderful Son, our Mighty Counselor, and Gracious Lord, Jesus Christ,
and all God's people said....

Discouragment
Ephesians 3:14-21
Good morning, I have been in this part of Ephesians for awhile, and have come across a story that I think hits home in many ways, and possibly for many people, I thought I'd share it with you all, and then pray; it is very powerful........
There is an ancient story; The devil had decided to go out of business, ( I know, Hallelujah)
So he offered his tools for sale. They were attractively displayed; there was trickery, hatred, malice, deceit, rage, sensuality, and an assortment of other sharp tools, each marked with a price. However sitting in the center was a wedge shaped, well worn tool priced higher than all of the others. "Whats is that," one potential buyer asked. "That's discouragement", the devil replied. "Why is it so costly?" Well because it can do my evil work best of all. With it I can make the lives of many folks seem of no value, I can make them just lie down and give up, and become useless and never realize I'm the one using it on them.............
Lets pray;
Heavenly Father, Oh, our wonderful God, hold us today. This ugly tool of satan is used on all of us, some more than others, some in such awful ways, but ...... but we have the best tool of all to combat anything the enemy can throw at us, and that's Your grace. Your wonderful Son, dwells in us, we ask Him into our hearts and He sets up shop right then and there. How wonderful. Father, I give this day over to You, this day is trapped with deadly mines from the enemy, he lies in wait, and is smiling at all times, hoping and trying to make us fall into his plan, he is a murderous and evil, deceitful, enemy, that takes such pleasure in our failures, that loves to see us suffer. What is so great about all of this, what is the magnificent true reality of this life, is You Father. You, You are the One, the Everlasting, the One who never falters, or fails, who never gives up, who's strength is unmatched, and when we are surrounded by Your grace, by the forgiving grace of the shed blood of Your Son, nothing can take us away from You. No matter what the enemy hits us with, You are stronger and more powerful.
Father, there are so many that don't know this, that can't process this, Father, Oh, may I meet one today, so I may help add them to the list of Your saints. May I have the opportunity to share this wonderful news with someone who doesn't know, who has no understanding of the real truth. This is in Your hands Father. As is all things.
YOUR LOVE SURPASSES ALL KNOWLEDGE!
Wow, who can comprehend that? Who can get that, well even for the sharpest minds in this little world, the understanding of that is too great, and You know, I love that about You. I don't have to think that hard about it, I just believe it and You show it day, after day, after day, after day. It is in every day of our lives and it is not really hidden, if we believe in You, in Your ways, and trust, then we're across the bridge, and You have us in Your hands forever.
No matter what, Lord, You love us; ........ The one who knows us the best, is the one who loves us the most, and there is nothing we can do to change that. How magnificent, how wonderful. To those Father, who maybe reading this for the first time, I ask for Your blessings, for those who get this message regularly may their minds open even more to You. May Your name be praised in all we do, and Father, when we fall, may we be humble enough to raise our hands to You and bow our knees to You and ask for help, and forgiveness. Thank You Father, for allowing us this day,...... we pray in the name of Your Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ,
and all Gods people said, Amen

Essance
Ephesians 3: 17-19
So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.
Good morning, our Father, thank You for another day in Your graces. Thank You for allow another day for us to possible minister to others, speak the truth to others, to be the example in which You desire for us to be. Though we fail Father, though we fall short everyday, You love us still and never cease doing so. Father, forgive me of my sins, I am a weak man, a sinful man, and I do not desire to be strong. Not strong in this world, or in myself, but Father, to be strong in Christ, Your son, my savior. For he dwells in me, and therefore I ask for His strength to build me up.
Father, it never ceases to amaze me, How you love me, Father you love us all, it shows how far we are from You. For it takes such little things for us to stop loving others, or to leave others, and Lord, You never do....... You know the depths of my depravity, the worst of my deeds past and present; and yet You love me. You are not stopping, You continue to love, and to be there for me, for us. How wonderful. Thank You Father, I commit this day to You, I lift up those in my heart and on my mind to You, they in sorrow, they are in joy, they are in need, they are lost, Father, I commit them to You for there is no better place for any of us to be,
I pray in the name of Your most precious Son, our Mighty Loving Counselor, and Wonderful Mediator, Jesus Christ,
Amen

FAR ABOVE
Ephesians 1:21-23
Far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named. and He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church. Which is His body, the fullness of Him who fill all in all.
Our Heavenly Father, Oh, Lord, we come to You in different times, times of joy, times of sorrow, times of stress, times of utter glea. Father, we tend to forget that You are always here, that You are in control. There is nothing that comes to us, that hasn't passed through Your fingers first. You give us nothing that we can't handle,........ Father, how blessed is Your name. When we truly stop to think of all these things how can we not charge this day, like we are charging a battle line.
I look at this day with such optimism, with such enthusiasm, Father You caused that, You are responsible. Thank You Lord. Father, I pray that those out there who are lost, who are searching, those who have no idea what to think, or do, Lord I ask for the opportunity to meet at least one of the them today. Not that I may do something to please myself, show myself prideful things, but to glorify Your name, and help add to Your kingdom. Oh, to speak the truth of the gospel to anyone, for that is all You ask of us, just to speak the truth, You'll handle the rest, You've got it all covered and in control. How marvelous!
Lord, I give You back this day for which You have set for me, Father, I am a weak man, a child in constant need of His Fathers hand to hold. Father, I love that analogy of the little boy walking hand in hand with His Dad (Father), for the boy trusts his Father to lead him in the right direction, with no hesitation. Father, I do that today, I ask with great humility and with a contrite heart for forgiveness of my sins today, and for You to hold my hand throughout this day, for I cannot do anything that this day requires without Your guidance. Thank You Father, Thank You for all You have done, are doing, and have in store for us.
Lord, I lift up my lovely wife, my wonderful kids, great parents (all three sets), our beloved brothers and sisters, and fun loving nieces and nephews. Father, they are such close and important parts of our lives, they are not only need, but wanted. I ask for Your loving hand to touch them and bless them today.
Father, we have many friends and family spread far and wide, and close to home. We have some with debilitating illnesses, cancers, broken hearts, wayward lives, and down right depressing states. I ask for You to touch their lives in away today, that allows them to see just a glimpse of Your glory, and to see the understanding that You are here, You are ever present and always in control. I ask for comfort on their hearts today, that the support group of friends, neighbors and other family members be rich in Your love, and lavish that love upon them. Father the need is great, and the lives are many, but..... huh, You know them more intimately than anyone possible ever could. So I leave it all there at the level ground that is at the foot of the cross.
Father, we also have many that are at abundant levels of joy today, Oh, Lord, I especially pray that those people be at the right place at the right time for You to use them as a tool to bring someone into Your fold today Lord, for You say it in Your word, a glad heart is good medicine, it brings good healing. Oh, Father, may we laugh more today. May we bring joy to those around us. I have seen the best example of joy, and I pray we all not only see it, but model it, I watch my youngest son, and his tee ball team mates run around an infield, Oh, what exuberant joy they display. The 5/6 year old that laugh and run at the same time is a fine example of how we should rush at our days, ..... with massive amounts of joy, good attitude, and simple faith, faith in You our Father.
Before I close our Father, I finally lift up our nation, our nations leaders, and those who protect our borders. Father, we are in such awful trying times now, and it seems that our leaders have given You up, and think they can handle it all, they think they have the answers, and what is worse, more and more people are putting their trusts in one man, one party or parties, how stupid. When the blue print to our lives has been around longer than anything we have today, Your word, is plainly there for our use, and those who need it more now then ever disregard it and carelessly run into this world thinking that they are first, and can do whatever they want. Father, I ask for severe conviction on them today, I ask for sleepless nights, and hard days for them, until they come full circle and end up back at the cross, face down in utter worship to You, for there is no better place to bring not only concerns and needs, but more importantly to bring our Love and Devotion to You. I ask Father, for Your loving and protecting hands upon those who protect this nation, home and abroad, may they be safe, and may they come home soon.
Thank You Father, for our pastors, our churches that teach the blood of Your son, our savior, Jesus Christ, for songs that sing about the cross, and the shed blood of the lamb. Father for those who attend so called Church's that stay away from those teachings and lessons, may they all run from those place, for not to teach the blood, and cross is not to teach the gospel, of Your saving grace through Your son Jesus Christ, and is teaching only hell. For without Christ, without the cross, without the shed blood, all that's left is hell. I pray for those individuals today too Father, may we get the true message to them.
Father, I lift up my heart, and pray that the eyes of my heart be enlightened, I pray that Your name be praised, and that Your will be done, I pray sincerely in the name, Oh, the precious name of Your Son, our Savior, our Mighty counselor, our Redeemer, Jesus Christ,
and all Gods people said,

Weakness
2 Corinthians 12:9-10
And He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness". Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.
Our Heavenly Father, gracious Lord Jesus Christ, how wonderful it is to come to You at anytime, to speak to You, to know that these words, this prayer does not fall on deft ears. Heavenly Father, I lift up myself to You, I ask forgiveness of my sins, for I am a sinful man, not worthy of Your grace, Your love. Father, I tell You nothing You don't already know, for You are never caught off guard, or shocked. Father, I accept Your grace and forgiveness, for it is only through the saving blood of Your Son, our Redeemer, the Mighty One, and the gracious counselor, Jesus Christ.
Lord, I am a weak man, I cannot do anything without Your help, without Your guidance, without Your hand upon me. It is all due to You, and for You. It has taken me so long to understand this about You. You allow nothing to come to us, that hasn't passed through Your fingers first, and it is something You know we can handle. I can handle nothing without You Father, and for this I thank You, cause we are never alone, we are never on this road by ourselves. You walk with us, You hold our hands; I sometimes look down at my sons hand as we walk together, to see his little hand in mine, to look at him and know he has total confidence in my leadership to get him to from one point to the other. Oh, Father how far we have drifted from You. This is what You want from us, You want our unwavering trust, You want our little hands in Yours, for there is no other more capable to get us from one point to the other in our lives. Father, Lord Jesus, my wonderful Savior, I ask forgiveness for letting go in the past, I am not perfect, and so I look to You for help in keeping my hand in Yours, and trusting You fully in our walk together.
Oh, what a feeling to know that You are always with us. Father, there are so many who don't know this wonder, who couldn't care less, or even believe for a second, Father my heart goes out to them. It never used to, my heart has been hard to many times, and for to long of times in my life. Father, You, You alone are turning my heart around, and leading me in the direction of Your Son, to look at others through Your eyes. Father, I do fail, but not as much as in the past, and the longing I see now in others eyes, fills my heart with sorrow, and compassion. Break me down farther Lord, so I may feel more for others, so I may witness for You and Your glory. So I may not worry of what may happen and leave all things to You. So that I may never shy away from the truly good news of the Salvation that is only through You Lord Jesus.
Father, I lift up my wonderful and beautiful wife, Lorna. She brings me such joy, and love. If someone wanted an example of compassion it is her. I believe now that is one of the main reasons You have brought her to me as my bride. I learn so much from her, her loving heart and compassionate caring is the biggest. It shows in our boys, Wyatt and Jack, such beautiful kids, Lord. They are such blessings, You have enriched our lives so much, by allow us the privilege of them in our home, and most importantly in our hearts. Father, I give You my family, for I know they are in no better hands than in Yours. Protect them, and guide them, allow no evil or harm to come near them, or inflict them at all. Thank You my Father, for these wonderful blessing. I am so not worthy of their love either, but I am trying to work as hard as I can to make them happy, and loved. To be the father, and husband You want me to be. Thank You
Father, I give You Mother and Dad, Floyd and Diane, Doug and Vickie, please lay Your blessed hands upon them, throughout their days, give them peace and joy, may they come closer to You everyday, for no matter what we go through, or how long we've roamed this earth, we can never learn enough or experience enough of You. May learn more of You, and pass it down to us, so we may learn more and do the same to our children. For it is the teachings of You Lord Jesus, through Your word, and the lessons we learn with You and from You, and give it all down to our children, that is the true inheritance that is due to our children. May we never forget that.
Lord, I give You my Uncle David and Aunt Brooke, they are not in the best of times, they are looking for You, I pray they see You, experience You, and feel Your grace upon them. Add healing were You see fit, and may Your sovereign Love cover them like the warmest blanket ever felt. I pray for strength and courage for those around them, so that support and care may come without hick ups, or obstacles. I lift them to You my Father.
Lord, we have wonderful brothers and sisters, (Curt, Deb, Chris, Patty, Jerry,Marjorie, and the kids, oh, who could ever forget the wonderful kids, Rachel, Grace, Amanda, Evan, Cole, and little Luke). All of them are such joys in our life Lord, may Your graceful hands lay upon them, and follow them throughout there days too. May they never stray, and may they come closer to You and Your ways. I pray for blessing upon them all and those who support them in their daily lives.
Father, I give a list of people that mean the world to me, the list is long, and the requests are full for prayer for them, they are on my heart and on my mind, You know better than I, so Father, take it from my heart and lift them up, thank You Lord Jesus.
Father God, as I end the prayer I give You my life again, it is something I could never grow tired of doing. I praise You for always being there, and accepting me into Your arms, there is no other place I'd rather be. I praise You Lord, and I give You all I have. I pray in the name of Your gracious and wonderful Son, my Lord, and Savior, my Redeemer, and King, Jesus Christ, Amen

Amazed
John 15:16
You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name he may give to you.
Heavenly Father, I am truly amazed by You. You amaze me with Your love, Your sovereignty, and Your grace. There are countless other reasons to be amazed, Oh Father, there is not enough time in our lives to mention everyone. Father, You predestined us from long before the world was even made. Before the foundations of this world were laid, Oh what a thought, what a majestic God You are. Oh I praise Your Holy Name, Lord Jesus.
Father, I truly thank You for choosing me. For being chosen to live in Your son, In Christ. You adopted us even though we didn't deserve it. If that is not love, then I don't anything at all. Your love is lavished on us, and we cannot see it at times. We are so absorbed by ourselves and everything that we think has to do with us, Oh Father, forgive me, forgive us. Forgive us of our sinful nature, forgive us of our self-center. We are weak and shameful people. Father, You see past that, You deluge us in Your love and grace, You sent the only sinless man, to the cross for us. The cross the mighty cross, Father, thank You for leveling the ground at the foot of the cross
We come to the cross, to the One, who knew no sin, and we are accepted by Him, and His loving and caring awesome arms wrap around us, and fill us full of His mercy. Father, my love abounds for You. Thank You for giving us the cross, for giving us the second chance when we were so far from You. Thank You for the blood of the Lamb, for the shed blood of Your son, for it is in that blood we are saved, we are redeemed and allowed to enter Your kingdom, to enter the many rooms that have been prepared for us. We can stand in front of You on that wonderful day, and when Your Son, our Savior, our mighty Mediator, Jesus Christ lays His hands on our shoulders and says to You that our names are in the book, You allow us into Your Heaven, Your graces, Your wonderful beautiful kingdom. Father, I am so wanting that day to come.
We see our world fall deeper and further away from You, we see evil and wicked take over this world, we see evil called good, and those who don't know You and choose not to know You lifted up as mighty and good, my heart goes out and cries. I pray that You will give them all discomfort in their days. May they all have sleepless nights, and hard days, til they finally give themselves up to You, and then and only then find peace. I pray for them and their lost souls. Father, they lead our country, our states, our jobs, our schools. They appear on our TVs and screens of all size, Lord, I pray for them all and their souls. You know them better than I, and You know who, what, when, how and why. I leave it all in Your hands. There is no better place.
Father, thank You again for all that You do, allow, and have in store for me, my wife, my children, my family (close and far away), my friends, and our neighbors. Father, I commit them all into Your hands, I lift up our pastors, our instructors, our counselors. May we all continue or start if we haven't yet, to speak the blood of Christ. May we never shy away from the blood of Christ, the only and true way to You. For as YOU said, no one, ( and I mean no one) comes to the Father, but through Your son, Jesus Christ. He is the way, the truth, the life. There is no other way, may we never forget it, may we never stop telling it, may we never shy from it, that is the truth. There is no better truth no other fact that holds such meaning, such treasure, such glory, and such honor, than the truth of Christ. I praise His Holy name.
Father, I lift Your Holy name in praise, I commit my life to You now, as before, and as I will do for everyday to come. Help keep me on that path, though I may stray, I know You will pull me back, and set me strait on Your path again, fortify me so I may not stray.
Some say that they would climb the highest mountain, for someone they loved, or just to be with someone special. Some say they would swim the deepest oceans to be with someone they love, or want to be with. but those are just empty emotions, they can never be done. Father, You did not climb a mountain, but You climbed the hill of Calvary, Father, You never swam a deep ocean, but You walked on the ragging sea. You did it for us, You didn't just say it, You did it, there is no doubting You and Your love. Thank You Father God for Your love. I praise You,
I pray these words in the name of Your beloved Son, the One we sing about, the One who came to save, the One who gave His life, the One who is coming again for the ones who love Him, ....... His Name is JESUS CHRIST in Him we pray,
and GODS people all said
Amen
The blood of Christ
1 Peter 1:18-19
Knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers
Good morning our Father, the privilege of coming to You in prayer is to great to explain fully. Father, Your forgiveness and grace is so immeasurable, and vast. You give to us with such abundance. Father we are not worthy, we are of a sinful nature, and of a sinful way. This world has gone so far from You, forgive us Father for putting ourselves first. Father, the cleansing grace of the blood of Christ is all that is needed to bring us to You. You tell us that once we accept You Son as our Savior, we are then placed in Him, therefore we are adopted by You and given an inheritance, one that we cannot fathom. May our pastors and teachers never cease telling of the blood of Christ. May we as followers of Christ never shy away from exclaiming the truth of the shed blood of our risen King. For it is only through His shed blood that we are saved. Not the amount of doors we knock on, or meals we make, or dollars we give, but it is the acceptance of His sacrifice, and His saving grace. Oh how wonderful Father it is that You gave up Your son, for ones so unworthy of Him. The song sings of how the heavens cannot hold you, so how much less to dwell in me/us. Thank You Father, for choosing me, for allowing me to be in Your son, to allowed into Your kingdom.
Father, as this day rolls on, I ask for patience, grace, and understanding. Father we have an atmosphere of colds and flu's running through our home, I pray for the healing power of Your Spirit upon Lorna, and Jack. Father, allow them to breath easy, and be able to move onto their duties. Father, I thank You for my lovely wife, Oh what a treasure You have entrusted to me, that too I am not worthy of, (her love), but Father, I accept it also, and with deep thanksgiving. Father, continue to work on us as husband and wife, and as friends and partners in this life of ours. We thank You for our boys, what joys they are, and how sweet they are too. Our hearts are filled with such delight with the two of them, we cannot possible repay them as gifts to us, we thank Thee Father, and place them into Your trust, and Your guidance, as I do this family, guide us through our days, with Your grace.
Father, I lift up Mother and Dad, Floyd and Diane, Doug and Vickie, what wonderful role models for our lives, the love and tenderness they share are treasures from Your hand without a doubt. Father place Your loving and caring hands upon them, may they see and feel Your glory today Father. Thank You for our brothers and sisters, their children, may they also feel the wonderful power of Your caring grace, and focused love, they are not only wanted as family, but needed as friends too. May we continue to lean on each other, throughout our days, enlisting each other when it is needed, and supporting one another at all times.
Father, my Uncle David and Aunt Brooke are on hard times, I ask for not only a healing hand but a Righteous and Sovereign hand upon them. A hand that allows them to know that You are God, that You are in control, and that You have it all in hand. May the power of the Holy Spirit encircles them with love and tenderness, and bless them. I pray for those around them also, some are searching, some are distracted by their own troubles, and healths, Father fill them also with contentment, and peace. May Your wonderful, grace and love abound through them all.
Father, as far as the east is from the west, You remove our transgressions from us, but Father, we as a nation have gone so far from You, and as a nation do not look to be moving toward You at any time soon. Father, convict us as a nation, convict those in charge, those who are trying to lead, especially those who are leading us further and further away from You. Father, we do so much evil and label it good, Oh Lord, You have condemned those who do that and have promised to do so again. Father, I lift up this nation, I pray that those who are in charge have sleepless nights and uncomfortable days until they recognize You and place back into the center of all they do and meet and decide about. May Your convictions be just and quick.
Father I ask for protection for those who protect us, may Your bless and comfort those brave men and women who fight to protect us. Guide them and bring them home quickly Father, Thank You for them all Father.
Father I ask for guidance for our pastors. My our pastor, Ray guide his staff and the Bayside church with Your sight, with ability to allow You to lead us, and not man. May they never stop preaching the spilled blood of Your Son, our Savior..... May his sacrifice not be in vain, may we all shout to the heavens that THROUGH HIS BLOOD WE ARE SAVED, FOR IT IS GOOD, AND SO SHALL WE BE.
Thank You my Father, we praise You cause You alone are worthy of our praise, blessed be the name of the Lord, for it is in His name, the name that we sing, that we bow down too, and praise, ....... Jesus Christ, we pray, and God's people say,..... Amen

Lavished Grace
Ephesians 1:7-9
In Him we have redemption trough His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace, which He lavished on us. In all wisdom and insight, He made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His kind intention which He purposed in Him.
Heavenly Father, thank You Lord for choosing me. You predestined us to be with You, to believe in Your Son. You were never mistaken, or wrong. Father we can't explain it, and honestly, I love that. I love the questions about Your ways, Father, to explain Your ways is impossible, and for us to even try is futile. And that is fine with me. You have taken the burden off of our shoulders. We don't have to explain everything, You just ask us to believe in You. There are some Lord that want the explanation, that need it or so they think. Father, I pray that You touch them in a way that eradicates that need from their thoughts. Father Your grace is sufficient for us, You tell us that in no hidden ways, it is right there in the Apostle Paul's pen. Father thank You. Lord, I love the word "lavished" in the verse above. It shows us that You pull no punches, when You give, You really give, and You let the flood gates open and O my what a privilege it is to have that Grace just Lavished on us. Thank You Father.
Father, today I do come to You with a heavy heart. A mind with a truck load of thoughts upon it. A soul that is thirsty for more of You, for more information of You, more knowledge, and more Christ-like ways, all to glorify You, all to honor You Lord. Father, I want to lift so many up to You tonight. However Father in doing that I think the computer would die, and time would certainly run out on me. First though Father, I lift my wonderful and beautiful wife up to You. Lord she is such a wonderful part of my life, I truly cannot imagine life without her, and I do shutter at that thought. She is the strong backbone of this family, and the love and grace she puts out flows to so many people in so many ways. People just flock to her Lord. Bless her today, I ask for Your most gracious blessing on her. Give her peace, and contentment, fill her full of wonderful thoughts of You, and the knowledge that all she has, and all that is around her is given by You, so she will have the understanding that she can let go of things, and let You take charge. Father I give You my children. Lord, I don't think others understand the extent of that statement. Lord, they are already Yours, Yours to take at anytime, O what a devastation to deal with, Father, I do plead with You not to allow that to happen, but You are in control, You are the One, You have it all in Your hands, and we cannot control a single thing. So who's better care could they be in? No other, loves them more than You, no other cares or can give to them what You can. Thank You Father, for allowing Lorna and I to have them in our lives, for the trust and direction you give us to care for them. Father, help us to continue to lead them back to You and to fill their little minds, hearts, souls with Your word, and the Majesty that is Christ.
Father, I do give You Mother and Dad, as they search for You in different ways may the be led to Your Glory, may they find the place that You desire them to be and to be filled and enriched by Your Glory. Father I hold up Floyd and Diane, Doug and Vickie, wonderful in-laws, who by their own wisdom's and experiences enlighten us as role models. May Your blessings pour down upon them all. Father, our brothers and sister, nieces and nephews, are always on our hearts, we ask for their well being, and for their paths to be lit by Your light.
Lord, God, Father, I come to my family across the country. Lord, O what pain and suffering they are going through. This Father is the weight of my overload today. Father, (and I am going to name them)Father, I lift up my Uncle David, and Aunt Brooke, my Aunt Barbara and her husband Steve, my dear sweet cousin Kelly and her little girl and dear, sweet angle Samantha. Father, these family members I hold especially dear and close to my heart now. Father, there are illnesses, and health problems, there is the possibility of financial concerns and most likely for them all there is exhaustion. Father hold them all, heal them, fill them with the Spirit, and increase their strengths and fortitude's to trust in You and the belief that as long as You are first, as long as You are allowed to lead our lives, that there is nothing that cannot be done, or accomplished in Your name.
We praise You Father, we give You our hearts. Father I give You my life. You Jesus, gave up Your life for me, I could never repay that gift, the best offering I can give is my life back to You. I thank You again for choosing me, allowing me to be apart of Your family, Your flock, lead me my Shepard.
Father, as I close this pray I ask for guidance and conviction for our nations leaders, how farther and farther away they get from You, O Lord we need You more now than we ever have. Father for those who guard this nation, we ask for your protection upon them, guide them, let them know that You are God, and You are in control.
Father, give strength to our pastors, our counselors, and our friends. May we be friends to those who need us, and counselors to those who need the ear. May our pastors have to knowledge they need to lead Your people, and to honor You. May we never forget You, may we never start our days without You. Father convict us, and bring us closer to You in Your ways and on Your time table.
Father we pray in the name of Your Son, our Savior, our Mighty Counselor, and Redeemer, His name is Jesus Christ, and He is our King. It is in His name we pray, and all God's people said,....
amen

Fruit of the Spirit
Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control: against such things there is no law.
Good morning our Father, the blessing of a new day in Your love is upon us, and as we get started may we give it all back to You. Heavenly Father, thank You for Your love, and for the above description of Your Spirit. You tell us to love one another, You supply the rest for our use. Father, forgive us for not using what You have put in front of us to make this life better for Your honor. Having lost one or two (sometimes more than that) of these blessings in my life, I see now the importance of them all. Of course nothing is as important as having You.
Father, as I said earlier today in new, and so much to do, I ask for Your blessings and guidance in doing the tasks set before me, Father, I lift up my beautiful wife to You also today. Lord the life of a mother barely has any down time, so Father I ask that You would bless her with patience, strength, contentment, and joy today. What a strong and sensitive woman You have blessed me with, thank You our Father. Lord, I also give You our boys, Wyatt and Jack, what wonderful little blessings to our lives. Their smiles brighten the darkest of days, and their little minds are so full of You. If one where to step back and look they would most certainly see the beauty and grace of You Father, is an innocent child. Children do not pull punches with words, and are so honest and true about who and what they love. O how we much we could learn from our kids. Please guide them and bless them also today Lord, keep them safe with us today, allow no harm to come to them today.
Father, I lift up Mother and Dad, Floyd and Diane, Doug and Vickie, what wonderful parents You have given to us Lord. Not only are they good examples for our lives, but also can be good friends. I once heard that a parent is a parent, not a friend. Well that doesn't fly with me, don't friends give advice?, aren't friends suppose to be there for you? Well I can say for sure some of the best times in my life has been spent with each one of them, and just talking. I pray that I can have and keep a relationship with my kids, and their wives when the time comes. Father, they have trials and tough time also, I ask for Your hands upon them, heal them in times of sickness, and hurts, bless them in times of good and bad, as You do for us all. My praises to You Father. Father our brothers and sisters, Curt and Deb, Jerry and Marjorie, Patty and Chris, Lord, lay Your hands upon them today, guide them with Your Righteous right hand, keep them in Your graces, the kids, Rachel, Grace, Amanda, Even, Cole and Luke, Father their joys supply us with so much happiness, be with them today also, fill them with the Spirit of the Lord, and may they be examples of Your love, even at their young age. Our friends, Ross and Sherri, and a long list of more and close friends, along with family, Uncle David, and Brooke, and the lengthy list here too. Father, lay Your healing and blessed hands upon them too Father, give them the peace they need, and the strength they need for their duties today also Father. Thank You for them all Lord.
Lord, I give You our pastor Ray and Bayside church. He has a big charge in front of him. To lead a congregation is by no way a small task, so Father, I lift him and his staff up to You today. I pray that the words that they use first honor You, and either leads someone to You that was not there before, and also enlighten others. May the church never lose sight of, You being first, and Your Glory being center. Father, our nation is so troubled, but You already know this, You know the evil that controls those who lead in areas, Father You have been left out of so much in our nation and look where it has gotten us. Innocent are killed, the poor is taken for granted, the fortunate don't pay attention, and the elected just don't seem to care. Father I pray that You conviction comes upon them swiftly, and this country realizes how far it has gotten from You, and makes its way back. Finally Lord, I give You our troops, such brave men and women, doing such dangerous work. They do work that we may and most likely will never know the depth of. They work in such evil and dark secret places, guide them and protect them Lord, let them know You are God, and You alone are in control. Bring them back home safely to their families, and hopefully to a nation that love them, and shows their debt and gratitude to them.
Father, once again thank You for this wonderful day, it is filled with Your love and blessing. May we be so much like our kids and see it. I love You Father, I thank You Lord, for the gifts of words, and the blessings to be able to put them into words for You. My heart is Yours, my soul and mind follow willingly. Father, we pray in the name of Your most righteous and honorable, great King, Your son, our Savior, O our Savior,.... Jesus Christ,
and God's people said........, amen

Unfathomable
Romans 11:33
Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways!
Good morning our Father, O how deep are Your thoughts, how unsearchable are Your judgments, and yes Father, unfathomable Your ways. I love that Lord, I truly do love that about You, You are unsearchable, You allow for no error, You are perfect. We can try to see what You see, live how You live, but we fall short by miles every time. Father forgive us. Forgive us of our sins, please Father make us strait on Your path. Father, we will always come short of Your grace, until that one day we finally stand before You, and Your mighty Son, the true One, the Mighty Counselor, the First, the Last and the only One in the middle, Jesus Christ, stands with us, and reads our names out of the Great Book, Your book. There is a song Father, that describes that time as best any human can do, "I can only imagine", because Father, right now we can only imagine, we have no true idea of what it will be like to stand in front of You, to be surrounded by Your glory. Will we fall to our knees, or will we jump and sing Your glorious name. O Father, all we can do is imagine, but whatever will come of that day, we know for sure, and there is no doubt about, this we do know; You will be there, and we that have put our faith into the hand of Your son, we the ones that believed in You and no other God, we will be allowed into Your kingdom, and we know for sure that You will welcome us with open arms, and Father the tears of joy that will flow from our faces, because we will all finally be able to say for the first and most certain time in our lives that, ... we are finally home.
Heavenly Father, today I give You my life, and my soul, my heart, and my mind, Father guide me today with Your love and unending grace. Father I lift up my lovely wife, Lorna today, hold her close, along with our boys Wyatt and Jack, Father allow no harm to come to them, and fill them with the Holy Spirit. Thank You Father, for the blessings of them in my life, though I am not worthy of such a wonderful gift. Father, as this day goes about Your will, I lift up the following into Your arms; Mother and Dad, Floyd and Diane, Doug and Vickie. Our brothers and sisters, Curt and Deb, Chris and Patty, Jerry and Marjorie, the kids, Rachel, Grace, Amanda, Evan, Cole, and Luke. Father, touch their lives, and hold them all close today. I pray for Your wisdom to be the guide in all our lives today.
Father, there are those that have troubles today, their health or their emotional state today. Father some are distraught with their families and friends, be it a difference in opinions, or something deeper and darker. Father there are those that see only the money troubles and think there lives are over, Father, I pray for them today. Them Lord, there are those who don't know You, that don't know of Your Grace and Love. Father some of them chose not to believe in You, and Father, I ask that You touch them today, that their days become uncomfortable without You, that their nights become sleepless, and disturbed. Lord, life without You is disturbing at the least, may those without You see this, and come to the Cross. Father, allow me to be the example for You. Allow me the privilege of serving for You to others, and speaking Your word to those who need it most.
Father, the depths of names from our friends and families run deep, the troubles are real and many, and there is joy too Lord. Father You know their names, You know their hearts, I implore You to fill them today with Your light. To name a few Father;.... Ross and Sherri, Dave and Ruth, Scott and Mel, uncle David, and aunt Brooke, .... Jacob, Michael and Brenda, ....... O Father, list is so great, but it is a wonderful thing to have so many to pray for, for it is all about You and Your glory. Father I lift our pastor Ray and his charge up to You today, the Bayside church does so much good, may Your name continue to be first, and Your will be the priority. Father as our nation turns in the direction of evil, I pray for our leaders. This is the time that You are needed most, and Father we see them slip further and further away from You, O I pray this isn't so, however Father You know the outcome, and the timing, may we all stay faithful, in Your word. Last but certainly not least Father, I lift up the troops, Father the jobs they have and the dangers they have are great, but You Lord are greater, hold them close today, and fill them with Your Spirit. Thank You for there service Father. Protect them and bring them home soon Father.
Thank You once again Father for Your love, for Your grace. You alone are worthy of our praise, may we never stop. May the world be filled with Your glory Father, for it is in the mighty and most glorious name of Your Son, our Faithful Redeemer, Jesus Christ, we pray................... and Gods people said...... amen

Prayer
Mark 11:24
Therefore i say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you.
Hello all, I pray this finds everyone well. Well I have been doing some thinking about this site, and I think it can use a little change. I first started this site to honor God, and I don't think I've gotten away from that. However I have a lot to learn on many subjects. I had an idea come to me though, and started to pray and think on it. You see I love to talk about our God, I love to just speak, and pray, and listen, and learn of our God. I don't think I've been doing that well of a job with this site in those area's. So I am going to change it up a little. For a little more back ground, I'll share a new devotional technique with you.
I was recently listening to one of my favorite pastors, Chuck Swindoll, and he gave a task to his congregation and to his listeners. He suggested doing a 30 minutes a day with God devotional. You take it in 3 ten minute segments. The first is a deep 10 minute devotional. Take your devotions, read them, then go further in your reading in the scriptures. The second segment is to pray for ten minutes. You mention all who you love, all who you hold close to your heart, of course mentioning all that everyone is going through would take longer than ten minutes, but don't forget God already knows. However to mention them by name, brings them closer to your heart as well. Then pray for your pastor, the church you attend, pray for the country, our leaders, and most importantly those who protect this nation. Then the final ten minutes is a reflection of your devotions and prayer time. He challenged everyone to try this for a week, I try it for 2 days, and wow, what an insight, an enlightenment into our God.
So I am going to take the second ten minutes a little further. I am going to just start posting prayers. I will mention those whom I love, those who are close to my heart and mind, my pastor, our church, our nation, the troops. Now take a breath for some of you out there, I will not mention any one's problems, or issues. It is not my place to put things into the public eye. I will mention names, no details. I have found that in prayer, once you start, you never know where it may lead you...... I love to pray, so thats it, a prayer blog. O I thought that if anyone wanted me to pray for something specific, or to add something on this blog, I could do that, but that would be totally up to you. There maybe someone out there that needs a good prayer, or hasn't had anyone to pray with them or for them, well maybe in a way this could be a way that I can help, and be the example that Christ wants me to be. I love responses, so please don't be shy, let me know of any thoughts, or suggestions. Thank you all for you time that you give to read this, and possibly to forwarding this on.
Prayer:
Good evening our Father, it has been a wonderful and blessed day in Your love, and in Your light. Father, I ask forgiveness of my sins, Lord, I sin everyday, the thoughts I have, some actions that come of those thoughts, are not right, and are far from you. Father forgive me. We have a nature that fights and wrestles with You Lord, but through Your power and through Your grace You win. You have already won, when You sent Your son to die on the cross, You won. Your wonderful gift of love has power over all things, and Father I fall to me knees in thanksgiving. Father I ask for blessings on these words, may they honor and glorify You above all things, may they reach someones heart who needs a prayer. Father, guide my thoughts and my actions, use me in ways that accomplishes Your mighty plan, and give Your blessing to all that read or come in contact with this site. Father, I lift up my lovely wife, what a blessing she is, and a treasure. Our boys Wyatt and Jack, we can't imagine our lives without them, and the thought of trying to crushes our hearts. Hold my family close to Your love our Father, guide them, protect them.
Father, I lift up our parents, Mom and Dad, Floyd and Diane, Doug and Vickie. Father, may we never forget they are our examples, that they have been down these roads before, and they are our help in our lives and the lives of our families. Lord, I give you our brothers and sisters, Curt and Deb, Jerry and Marjorie, Chris and Patty, Father, You have blessed Lorna and I with such good friends in these siblings, may we never stop leaning on each other, and seeking each other out to spend time with, and just stay in each others lives. Father I lift up the children, I spoke of mine earlier, now I lift up Rachel, Amanda, Evan, Grace, Cole, and Luke, what joys they are, when they are all together, you can actually see Your glory. You can understand how and why You love all the little children of the world. Protect them in these rough and hard times, give us the parents, the knowledge and the strength to raise them and protect them, there are so many wolves in sheep's clothing out there, that without You, we could not survive.
Father, we have family that stretch across this country, we don't speak to for awhile, or hear from, and Father I lift up my aunts, Sylvia, Barbara, and Brook, and my uncle David. I pray Your touch is felt by them, and their children my cousins, Kelly and Kevin, Chris and Dedra. Here at home the need is no greater or less, I give you my uncle Scott and aunt Melinda, there kids Mandy and Jacob. Aunt Rory, Marnie, and her kids, my aunt Ruth and uncle Dave, Lord we live so close and see so little, Father, guide them, and lay Your hands upon them as well. Father, I want to say something special about my aunt Maryanne, she has never had a turned down face in front of a child, she laughs more than anyone I know, and always helps where she can. Father, touch her in a way that shows the "example" to others and honors You.
Father, my dear friends Ross and his lovely wife Sherri, are close to our hearts and our family always, may the be blessed my You, and guided by You, they mean so much to me, we have friends and neighbors that need the prayers, Father, with Your power and knowledge may they be blessed today. Father I give our pastor Ray, and the ministry he leads at bayside church. Father continue to bless this church and may the evangelizing never cease. Father I pray for our nation, in these tough times, and evil times, You have never been more needed than now. May we not put our trust and faith into a president or congress, but in You. We lift up our nations leaders as they have tough jobs to do, and Father may You become front and center in their meetings, and finally Lord, I pray for our troops. Those wonderful men and women who defend this nation, Father, they are far away in strange and dark place, in secret places, Father protect them, asure them that they would know You are God, and you are in control, bring them home safely.
We thank You our Father for Your love, for Your grace, and for Your everlasting gift of Your son. For it is in His name we pray. The name of the mighty counselor, the wonderful King, the everlasting and true ONE, Jesus Christ, we pray......
And Gods people said,

Peace, Trust, Joy, Hope
1 Timothy 6:17
Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in GOD, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.
Hello all, I know its been awhile since last I blogged. My attention has been on my recovery from the second back surgery, I have recently started school, and of course when the holidays come, so does all the family and friends. We had a great time, I pray all of you did too, this year was different though, as most, we tried to watch the spending, how we spent our times with others, wanting to be with as many family and friends as possible.
We have a lot of people that are nervous, worried, and plain scared, with the world today. We have a new President, new and different ideals in charge, and financial instabilities that have the simplest of households in worry. I think that's why the verse above stood out to me. I like the command from God on where to put our trust, especially those with the wealth. It tells me that God knows what He's doing, He's in charge, not us, why are there people that still say, "the bible is outdated, that it doesn't add up, or make sense."? How many wealthy people lost their "shirts" in these times, and look at what the Word says, look, "Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so (uncertain), but to put their hope in God." This passage was written over 2000 years ago, (give or take), and how relevant is it today. This is God's word folks, it never changes, but is always true and relevant. The world can and will continue to change but God doesn't, His word is always Right.
I put four words as the heading, and I think trust and hope were talked of in the last paragraph, Peace and Joy are very relevant in the above verse. "God who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment." One of my favorite Preachers is Chuck Swindoll, a Godly man who laughs with all his might and enjoys life. He once asked a series of questions in a sermon,
"Do you have any idea how many people have lived their lives thinking that God is against us, how many folks believe God is sort of roaming about heaven looking for someone to club, or slap into place, or to get back at, you know how many Christians lived half their lives believing that somehow they needed too please God so as to keep Him from being mad at them? Scripture says Gods for us, scripture says we have been given all things to enjoy, did you see that? Did you read that? If not you need to read it, again and again, because chances are good you don't laugh enough, chances are good that you don't see enough funny in life, chances are good that you take yourself to seriously."
Now I don't know about you, but I understand those questions, I can see where some misguided people would see that. Do you laugh enough? I have several family members that I know love to laugh. Friends who take the time to just chuckle. My brother in law Jerry and his lovely wife, have three children all under the age of 8, they have got to be some of the happiest people I know. Yes like all the rest of us, they have ups and downs, and get tired, but they enjoy life. I see it their faces, in their smiles and eyes. I see it in their children themselves, what happy kids. The youngest one, O my, what a smile, he'd soon as smile as he's running through a brick wall. It is a joy to watch them, I watch my two, my youngest was given a nickname from another little boy years ago, (Happy Jack). Now I think that says it all. I try to make them smile, I think I don't smile as much as I should, I could smile more, and is a goal of mine. I have fallen off the truck some in recent years, in any situation I would try to make light of things, make my wife smile; joke, laugh at things. Recently it has been more of a challenge to smile, to laugh, but God is not done in our lives, he's not finished. He said to enjoy all things, so now lets enjoy, I know, its easier said than done. But if a little one can smile through anything, or get labeled "happy", then why can't we. Just cause we're older doesn't mean we get more serious, God is our Father, He always will be, there is no changing that, so lets let him take our lives in hand, and lets start enjoying what he has given us.
Life right now is to serious. The market is falling, I have no money, are we losing our home, I don't like the new president, or I'm glad the old one's gone. Who's right, who's wrong, why, why, why??????????? STOP!!!!!!!!!!
Stop the worry, look at it differently if you have no money, chances are the other guy doesn't either, is there a roof over your head? Good some don't even have a piece of card board. Republican, Democrat, Right, Left, correct, wrong, ...... Bush, Obama, Clinton, McCain,......
How about Jesus Christ, God, our Father, the Holy Spirit.? You show me a man or woman that has or is roaming this earth other than Christ that can predict like the verse above of money and uncertainty, plus an abundance of other subjects that we could spend years going over, like God has. You can't, its all about God. Where does he stay on a subject, or where do the views of our God, Jesus Christ stand. You want to know look it up, its all there in the bible. His word, not mine, not yours, His, and its the final word, the last word. You don't agree with that, that's fine, you have that right, however it is in my charge as a follow of Christ and born again Christian, to inform you that you, that if you don't agree, if you choose to take another path, or like some others out there, and add to His word, you are on a sure fire road to Hell, and that's a fact. Its not my fact, its in the book, I take it literally, no fluff, no muss, that's how it is.
My faith, my trust does not lye in one man in any color house, white house, brown house, blue house, it doesn't matter. My faith, is in Christ, His way and His way alone. My faith only allows me to vote a certain way, to teach my kids a certain way, and to discuss a certain way. He who made this wonderful world, who knew us before we were born, who lovingly constructed our hearts before our births. Who am I to question Him. To have questions, things we don't understand, is one thing, but don't question God on being God, and how to run His world.
It His world, He made it, we're His, He made us, and all He wants is our love. For us to follow Him with our hearts. Its not some superficial thinking, superficial type of thinking runs really thin when the bills come due, its Christ like thinking. Christ, who when hanging on the cross saying, "it is finished, it is done." Rather, instead of saying, "God how could you do this", its Father forgive them, they don't know what they are doing". Its attitude, a Christ like attitude.
Heavenly Father, forgive us for questioning, forgive us for even thinking we know what is best. Forgive us for being the children we are, You are Holy, and Worthy of it all, it is to You that the glory be and You alone. I give you these words, I pray they honor You, and convey what is right. Thank You for Your love, and for Your gift of Your son. We praise You, and adore You, and pray in the name of Your son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,
amen
